After President Trump’s inauguration in January 2017, there was a large amount of uncertainty as to what he may, or may not, seek to accomplish during his time in office. Speculation as to changes within OFCCP were rampant and included a possible merger with the EEOC. Federal contractors, HR professionals, consultants, and law firms were all on edge. Fast-forward a year and it’s apparent the sky did not fall and enforcement is continuing in much the same way it did under previous administrations. That said, with the #MeToo movement and an increased focus on diversity, it’s not that the world is without change but simply that the change is driven by grassroots campaigns and not regulations.


So, what does this all mean? Simply that times change, but the fundamentals underpinning those times do not.
