BCG INSTITUTE FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

BCGi is a free service provided by Biddle Consulting Group to the professional HR community and others whose jobs require analytical, statistics, and research skills. It is our belief that nothing empowers people, increases their economic security, and improves their quality of life like effective and ongoing education. Over two hundred years ago, the founders of our country believed that an educated populace was critical to ensuring the vibrancy and effectiveness of our democracy. In many ways, our country was founded on the principal that an informed people is a free people.

At BCGi, our mission is to provide the highest quality training opportunities to every interested individual--without consideration of their ability to pay. Through our service, we seek to help people improve their marketability, enhance their careers, increase their upward mobility, and improve their quality of life.

We offer a wide variety of courses related to human resources, affirmative action compliance, and the use of analytical software. In addition, these courses are grouped together to form "core skill areas." Upon completing all the courses for a specific skill area, you may be eligible to receive a certificate of completion that you can use to document your expertise. Additionally, many of our courses are accepted for continuing education credit for the Human Resources Certification Institute's (HRCI) PHR and SPHR human resources certification.

BCGi is also linked to EEOCertification.com, a website where you can complete specially developed and validated certification examinations to earn a certification in one of six important content areas. These include:

a) Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance (General Knowledge),

b) Adverse Impact Analysis,

c) Compensation Analysis,

d) Affirmative Action Plan Development,

e) Compensation Analysis, and

f) the OFCCP's Internet Applicant Recordkeeping Rule.

Our instructors include highly trained doctoral level practitioners and individuals with extensive experience in their fields of expertise. Our goal is to share knowledge and build an online community of dedicated professionals who, together, help drive the United State economy and increase the skill, professionalism, and competitiveness of our workforce.
