Pay equity has been a centerpiece of enforcement action over the past eight years. Given that the OFCCP bagged $1.2 million from LexisNexis and has trial dates for Google, Oracle, and JP Morgan Chase in the upcoming year, it is a risky proposition to believe that pay equity enforcement may ease up in the new administration. The OFCCP is finally getting good at compensation analysis and enforcement is getting more aggressive and complex. More so than ever, contractors need to understand the basics of compensation and how to run basic analyses in-house with BCGi’s free compensation analysis tool—COMPARE Lite. BCGi is offering a three part series: Part 1 will cover the basics of compensation analysis and Parts 2 and 3 will cover more complex analysis methods that the OFCCP is employing in their latest enforcement actions.
